Christian Dior by John Galliano, Fall Winter 2001. This one piece swimsuit belongs to the Miss Diorella collection, one of the most collectible eras of Galliano's tenure at Dior. The all over trompe l'oeil print imitates denim, layered with patches and commercial style graphics referencing the house, a knowing nod to Americana filtered through Parisian couture. The collection was captured in Dior's FW2001 campaign, photographed by Nick Knight.
